In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Vance had already sparked outrage when he said women like Vice President Kamala Harris are “childless cat ladies who are miserable with their own lives” and who have “no direct interest” in America’s future.

Kesha went on to say that she agreed with the belief that her view is sexist.

He also said he “absolutely” supports Harris.

This comes after Jennifer Aniston responded to Vance for his similar comments about the Ohio politician, who is the Republican Party’s candidate for vice president in the 2024 US presidential election.

The day before Kesha shared her reaction to Vance’s viral comments, the Friends star took to Instagram to post some harsh words for the senator.

She said she “really can’t believe” a vice presidential candidate would say what he did.

He also promised to “pray” for his daughter and that she “will be lucky enough to have children of her own one day.”

“I hope she doesn’t have to resort to IVF as a second option, because they are trying to take that away from her as well,” she added.

Outrage from stars including Aniston and Kesha came after Vance made comments in 2021 questioning Harris’ leadership because she had no biological children.

During his campaign for the Ohio Senate, Vance said in an interview with Fox News that “in reality, in this country we are run by Democrats.”

He referred to the political party as “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable with their own lives and the choices they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”

He said they included Harris, U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat.

Vance told Carlson in the interview: “It’s a basic fact: If you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC, the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And what’s the point of us having handed our country over to people who don’t really have a vested interest in it?”

Vance, 39, and his wife Usha Vance, 38, have three sons, Ewan, six, and Vivek, four, and daughter Mirabel, two.

Harris became a stepmother to two children (son Cole, 29, and daughter Ella, 25) when she married entertainment lawyer Douglas Emhoff in 2014.

Buttigieg announced that he and his husband adopted twin babies in September 2021, more than a month before Vance made those comments.

Aniston has been candid about her fertility struggles and attempts to have a child over the years.

The Morning Show star, who was previously married to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, spoke to Allure in December 2022 about how she had sought to have children more than a decade ago.

She told the publication: ‘I would say by the time I was 30 or 40, I had been through some really tough stuff, and if I hadn’t gone through that, I would never have become who I was meant to be.

“That’s why I’m so grateful for all that shit. Otherwise, I would have been stuck in this person who was so afraid, so nervous, so unsure of who I was. And now, I don’t give a shit.”

She explained her feelings and said that during that period she was “trying to get pregnant.”

“The journey of having a baby was so challenging for me,” Aniston said. “All the years and years and years of speculation… it was really hard.”

She also talked about the multiple methods she explored in her attempts to get pregnant.

“I was doing IVF, drinking Chinese teas, etc.,” Aniston said. “I was giving it my all. I would have given anything if someone had said, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ But you don’t think about it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”

She said things were “really difficult” for her emotionally during the years when there were rumours she was pregnant; and insinuations she chose her career in showbiz over having children were “absolute lies”.

In the 2022 interview, she said, “I actually feel a little relieved now because I don’t have to think about it anymore.”

In November 2022, a source told People that the A-list actress remained “at peace” and “very happy in her life,” adding, “She’s in a great place and she knows that… kids or no kids, that hasn’t changed her.”
