Actress Katrina Kaif and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar have had a fruitful collaboration over the years. However, their expected collaboration in Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming project, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, faced a setback due to Katrina Kaif’s busy schedule. Yes, you heard right. Katrina was the first choice Bade Miyan Chote Miyan stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. In a recent interview with News18, Ali Abbas Zafar expressed his disappointment and cited Katrina Kaif’s previous commitments as the reason for her unavailability for the project.
Ali Abbas Zafar said, “She couldn’t do our film because she was busy with something else. I just hope she keeps her dates available for my next film.”
Ali Abbas Zafar openly acknowledged Katrina Kaif as his top choice for leading female roles in all his ventures. Reflecting on their bond, he said, “Katrina is always on my mind when it comes to making a movie. If I don’t cast her, she calls me and says, ‘Why don’t you have me in your movie?’ That’s what she said this time too. Whenever I’ve worked with her, we’ve always had a great bond as a director-acting duo.”
Katrina Kaif previously headlined Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial debut, Only Brother Ki Dulhanand later collaborated on it Tiger Zinda Hai And Bharat. Ali Abbas Zafar’s latest venture, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar, with Manushi Chillar and Alaya F portraying their love interests. Teased as a high-octane action thriller, the film follows elite soldiers as they thwart the nefarious plot of a masked villain with an AI weapon. Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist role in this action-packed spectacle.
The release is scheduled for April 10, just before the Eid holidays. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is all set to clash with Ajay Devgn’s Maidan At the register.
