The Princess of Wales has revealed that Prince George is a fan of British rock band Queen.
The ten-year-old royal first took a liking to the band when he heard them play at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace in 2022, celebrating 70 years of the late Queen Elizabeth’s reign.
American singer Adam Lambert, 42, took the place of lead singer Freddie Mercury and joined Brian May, 76, and Roger Taylor, 74, on stage as they sang a montage of classics, impressing the Royal Family with their joyous performance.
Singer Adam chatted to Kate at last year’s carol service at Westminster Abbey, where he revealed that George, who is second in line to the throne, was particularly fond of the band, according to Sun.
He said: “It was a great honour. I got to meet Princess Kate, which was fabulous. She was absolutely lovely, down-to-earth and down-to-earth.

‘She was talking about her son (George) recalling performing with the Queen at the Palace for the Platinum Jubilee two years earlier. Adam continued: ‘She said, ‘Oh, Adam’s going to play his guitar?’
She said, “I think he was confused about who was playing guitar and who was who, but he remembered who you were.” I thought, “Oh, that’s cute.”
In recent years, George has been particularly fond of rock music, with Prince William having previously said he listened to AC/DC and Led Zeppelin during a surprise meeting last year.
William and Kate greeted guests at the Big Lunch with an unexpected 40-minute stroll along The Long Walk in Windsor in May last year.
Caroline Mulvihill, from the Windsor and Maidenhead Rock Choir, spoke to William during the meeting.
Recounting the conversation, he said: “We were talking about the kind of music we make in Rock Choir and Will told us that his household has very diverse musical tastes and that George really likes AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. He added: “That was really interesting to hear.”
This comes after Prince William revealed that his children are big fans of house DJ Jax Jones.
The British DJ, 36, met the Prince of Wales, 42, at the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations at Buckingham Palace, where he told him that George, 10, Charlotte, nine, and Louis, six, “love” his music.

Jax Jones, whose real name is Timucin Lam, rose to fame after working on the number one hit I Got U with Duke Dumont.
In response, Jax, who performed at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert, joked that he might perform at one of the children’s birthday parties in Wales.
Speaking to HELLO!Jax said: ‘I met the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace after the late Queen’s Jubilee, which I performed at and it was amazing, and he told me his kids love my music and I joked about performing at one of their birthdays.’
The Prince and Princess of Wales have a working relationship with the DJ and in 2023 it was reported that they had secret meetings with him to learn how to connect with young people across the UK.
The push comes ahead of the launch of Kate’s Early Childhood Campaign, of which the artist has become an ambassador.
Jax said Sun‘Our relationship began at the Jubilee and then we were together at Buckingham Palace.

“We all talk, they are very friendly and very welcoming. Being invited to participate and be an ambassador is a real honour. They are very down-to-earth people and only want to do positive things.”
The DJ is the father of daughter Lawanna and confessed that he was afraid of doing something wrong when he met the royal couple for the first time.
He said: ‘I was very worried about getting addresses wrong. So the first time you meet a princess you say ‘Your Highness’ and then ‘Ma’am’, but they make you feel very comfortable.
‘We were chatting before the launch and spent the day at Windsor Castle really brainstorming.’
The Princess of Wales has said her early years campaign goes beyond “raising children” and is also about “shaping our society” and creating a “more nurturing world”.
