Skye Wheatley has claimed she was fired from a popular reality show after making a controversial sexual confession two years ago.
The influencer, 30, revealed she would star in Channel Seven’s Big Brother reboot in 2022, alongside fan favorites Reggie Bird, Tim Dormer, Tully Smyth and Layla Subritzky.
But she was booted from the show’s season 14 just weeks into filming after posting an “insensitive” joke on Instagram about her sex life with boyfriend Lachlan Waugh.
“I was supposed to go ahead with it, but a couple of weeks before I flew to Sydney to do it, I answered a question on my Instagram: ‘Who’s more dominant in the bedroom?'” she said. news.com.au.
And I said, “Oh, it depends… If I’m in the mood, I’m not going to take no for an answer.” But he likes that. He likes it when I say, “Honey, let’s have sex.”

“But everyone said, ‘You force him to have sex without consent.'”
Skye, who first rose to fame on Big Brother in 2014, then received an email from producers telling her she had been kicked off the show.
“They said, ‘Hey, we’re not going to go ahead with your hospitalization.’ They didn’t tell me the reason, but that had to be the reason,” he added.
‘They didn’t want bad publicity or anything like that, which was really disappointing. “It actually broke my heart.”
In 2021, Skye joked during a Q&A with her fans that she demands sex from Lachlan even when he’s not in the mood.

When asked who is more dominant in bed, Skye replied: “Hahahahaha me… but only when he’s angry and says he doesn’t want to have sex.”
“Hahahaha, no one tells me no… I won’t take no for an answer if I want to have a sexy time,” she added.
The reality star’s comments clearly upset some of her fans, as she returned to the platform less than 24 hours later to issue a humiliating apology.
The mother-of-two apologized for her “insensitive and provocative” words and promised to think twice before making similar jokes in the future.
‘Hey guys, I just wanted to address one of my comments made in my Q&A last night and my poor choice of wording. “Lachlan and I have a healthy and balanced sex life,” she wrote on Instagram Stories.
In 2021, Skye joked during a Q&A with her fans that she demands sex from Lachlan even when he’s not in the mood.
‘I have never been in a situation with Lachlan where he has done anything he didn’t want to do sexually or vice versa. At no time would he do anything to another human being that he didn’t consent to.’
Skye regretted her “poor choice of wording” and clarified that neither she nor Lachlan had forced or manipulated each other into having sex.
‘I understand that my words were completely insensitive and triggering and I am sincerely and deeply sorry. “I’m embarrassed that I posted that without even considering the effect it could have on my followers,” she said.
The Gold Coast influencer concluded her post by promising not to be so “impulsive” when communicating with her large audience.
The outspoken influencer has since returned to reality TV and is now a contestant on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! from Channel Ten.
“I take full responsibility and am 100 percent committed to making sure I take steps forward to make better decisions about what I say in the future,” she wrote.
Skye and Lachlan met in 2017 after matching on Tinder.
They welcomed their first child, a son named Forest, in December 2018, and a second son, Bear, was born on April 23.
