Zac Efron is once again raising eyebrows with his appearance after being spotted on the set of his new movie Famous on Monday.
At 37, the actor who once wowed us as the fresh-faced star of High School Musical now sports a noticeably different look, with a wider jawline and more angular facial features that have sparked a new round of cosmetic surgery rumors. .
While filming the thriller A24 in Los Angeles, Zac kept a low profile in sunglasses, a brown dress shirt, and dark pants, giving off major ’90s-era vibes.
The star, who plays two roles in the film based on the novel of the same name, including a Hollywood heartthrob and a fan, held documents in his hands as he crossed a parking lot.
This is not the first time Zac has caused a stir with his appearance.

Despite his explanation, fans continued to question Zac’s transformation after watching Netflix’s A Family Affair over the summer, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage the actor shared on his Instagram account.

Others were quick to defend the star, citing her previous surgery following a serious fall years ago.

Zac (seen on the left in 2007 and on the right in a behind-the-scenes clip from A Family Affair) spoke out in 2022 about his change in appearance, blaming it on a bad fall that “shattered his jaw.”
Others compared him to characters like Thanos in The Avengers and even went so far as to name Prince Farquaad from Shrek.

In his interview, Zac revealed that he had a nasty accident at home which caused a massive transformation to his face.
The star recalled how she put on a pair of socks while running around her house, causing her to crash her chin into a granite fountain.
Zac said that when he was injured, the masseter muscles on the inside of his face and jaw “compensated” for his injury by causing them to increase in size, hence his remarkable transformation.

Efron’s friend Kyle Sandilands also spoke out on his behalf, saying the Baywatch star would never do such a thing, comparing him to an oil painting by one of the old masters.
The Australian radio host, who has known Zac for years, put an end to speculation during The Kyle and Jackie O Show at the time.
“I’d know if he’d had any plastic surgery,” Kyle declared, before telling co-host Jackie “O” Henderson that “of course” Zac hadn’t had any work done.
He then said that it would be pointless for the High School Musical heartthrob to undergo surgery because he’s already so handsome.
