Danny Jones, 38, arrived at Heathrow Airport early on Saturday morning ahead of his 24-hour flight to Australia for I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

A severe storm threatened to divert the plane carrying the first I’m A Celeb stars to Sydney Airport.

But the show’s spin-off presenters, Sam Thompson, Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers, were one of the last passengers to land unharmed in Brisbane; all other flights had to make the 1:35 hour diversion.

McFly’s Danny Jones, the first I’m A Celeb star to arrive in Australia, was on the same flight and arrived right on time.

In a hellish experience for passengers, the plane was forced to hover over the runway for some time before being able to land.

The trio will also be joined by several celebrity guests throughout the show and viewers will be encouraged to join in on all the lively discussions via social media and the app.
