The actress traveled to the Hungarian capital to spend a working holiday with her partner Alistair Garner and their son Barney, six months after giving birth.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Emily, 34, posted some photos taken during her stay, during which she enjoyed plenty of local cuisine while visiting some of the city’s historic sites.

Captioning her latest updates, she wrote: “5 weeks in Budapest working but mostly eating and having a really great time.”

The Inbetweeners star recently joked that the ‘boobs that got her through life’ ironically let her down when she had trouble breastfeeding her baby.

Emily said she became desperate and screamed when her son Barney, now five months old, wouldn’t latch on after she gave birth.

She told the Great Company podcast: “I know for a fact, even saying this now, I’m going to get backlash saying ‘breast is best.'”

‘But the irony is that my boobs have helped me throughout my life and now they don’t work for me. Yes, health.

‘When I really needed you. When I really needed you. Breastfeeding was very, very difficult for me.

‘I tried everything I could. I couldn’t breastfeed. That’s been a really, really difficult process.

‘The baby just wouldn’t latch. He did it first, and then he stopped doing it, and every day he got thinner and thinner.

“And I just thought, ‘I have to feed my baby, I have to feed my son.'”

And she added: ‘I got very sick. I got really sick with something called mastitis, which happens when milk becomes completely blocked.

“I was lying there, my baby was not being fed.

“At times like that, it’s really hard because I’m like, ‘Yeah, but everyone’s going to think I’m a shitty mom because I can’t breastfeed.’ I failed at the first hurdle. The first thing I had to do was breastfeed my son and I couldn’t even I can’t even do it.

“I was trying so hard to get him to latch on. I couldn’t do it. And he was just screaming. I was trying. I literally had my mom, my partner and my cousin squeezing me.

‘You have to get a certain angle for the nipple to enter the mouth. And at one point I had six people on my tit, like squeezing it at a certain angle.

“She was screaming in pain, like she was trying to get just a little bit of milk out of the baby’s mouth.

“And everyone was like arguing, saying, ‘Well, you have that end, you have this end.'” “And at that time they were huge.”

Emily welcomed her first child in June with fellow scientist Alistair Garner, whom she has known for more than 30 years.

Emily added on the Great Company podcast: ‘It took an army. I had my partner squeezing my nipple like that, I had my cousin squeezing the side of my boob.

‘My mom, my mom hasn’t touched my body like that since I was a baby.

And yet, suddenly there are people trying to force you to, you know, feed this baby.

“Everyone was arguing like, ‘OK, how should we make this work?’ Try that end, try that end.’

“And I thought, ‘wow, how lucky I am to have a family like this and a partner like this and all this help around me.’

‘But I still felt like I was failing. I couldn’t feed my baby. And it’s just horrible.”
