The Hollywood star, 56, went public with the Broadway star, 49, on Monday when they were spotted holding hands during a date night in Santa Monica, California.
Now Hugh has broken his silence as he took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share his first post since the photos emerged.
He reshared a message from Deadpool & Wolverine executive producer Wendy Jacobson, confirming that the film had secured a string of nominations.

And Hugh praised his team’s performance as he reshared three posts confirming the nominations, breaking his silence on social media.
His posts came just days after Hugh went official with his new girlfriend Sutton, more than a year after his shock split from wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
Going public after months of speculation, Hugh and Sutton looked happier than ever on a date night as they held hands and laughed together.
Hugh and Sutton previously shared the stage on Broadway when they starred in a critically acclaimed production of the classic musical The Music Man in 2022.
The friends subsequently bonded over their individual marital problems, but only began a romance once he was “out of the heartbreak that his relationship ended.”
They then finally decided to make their romance public this week, as they are no longer “interested in hiding their love.”
“Enough time has passed for Hugh to stop playing games and hiding his feelings and his relationship,” the insider said.
“They both wanted to be considerate of their exes and anyone who might be upset, but they’re not interested in hiding.
