Huawei has already confirmed that it will announce its Mate 20 series on October 16, but if you need more proof that we will get both a Huawei Mate 20 and a Huawei Mate 20 Pro – and that both will soon come – they have apparently certified in China.

Two Huawei devices were spotted on the TENAA (Chinese telecommunication authority) by MySmartPrice, with the model numbers HMA-AL00 and HMA-TL00.

No other useful details are provided, but so close to the confirmed launch of the Huawei Mate 20 is probably what one of them is, while the other is probably the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

No game

That said, the model numbers do not match those of a few weeks ago on an EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) list, which was also linked to the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. There the phones were listed as LYA-L29 and HMA-L29.

It is therefore not clear whether these are actually four different handsets that we are looking at or maybe only regional versions of the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.

We should know it quickly, and the announcement would be worth the wait, as rumors suggest that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will have a fingerprint scanner on the screen, a QHD + AMOLED screen, minimal bezel, a powerful Kirin 980 chipset and a big battery.
