The Home and Away on-screen couple, whose real-life romance came to light in May, showed they are closer than ever as they embraced each other.
Ada, who plays Leah Patterson in the soap, cut a chic figure in a grey turtleneck and blue straight-leg jeans.
She kept comfortable in a pair of white Adidas sneakers and kept her essentials in a Louis Vuitton crossbody bag.
The actress was all smiles as she walked alongside James, 48, as they chatted and hugged each other during their walk.
James, who plays her love interest Justin Morgan, cut an equally relaxed figure in dark blue jeans and a coordinating denim jacket with a fluffy white lining.
She completed her look with a pair of chunky brown boots with red laces and a black baseball cap while holding a cup of coffee in one hand.
James is currently preparing for his debut on the 2024 series of Dancing With The Stars, where he will team up with professional dancer Jorja Rae Freeman.

Since James and Ada’s romance was revealed with their lingering Anzac Day kiss, it has been claimed that they are already considering moving in together as their relationship goes from strength to strength.
Their romance came after Ada split from ex-partner Adam Rigby just before Christmas last year, while James finalised his divorce from Sarah Roberts in March.
Sources have claimed the couple are planning their highly-anticipated red carpet ‘kick-off’ of their relationship at the 2024 Logie Awards on August 18.
However, the pair were also hit by rumours of a “rift” on the cast of Home and Away when their romance first emerged, but the couple have since dismissed the claims.
Last month, a source close to the actress reportedly told Woman’s Day that stars including Ray, Lynne McGranger and Emily Symone are “keeping tabs” on Ada.

But Ada dismissed the rumours when she attended show legend Ray Meagher’s 80th birthday party last week with a host of her co-stars.
She joined the likes of Kate Ritchie and Emily Symons at the party, where she was said to have had a “lovely time” with her co-stars.
Then on Thursday, Ada and James took to Instagram to share gushing birthday tributes for Ray, while proving all was well on the set of Summer Bay.
James shared group photos of himself and Ada alongside Ray with the simple message: “Happy birthday, buddy!”
The on-screen couple (pictured from the show) were hit by cast “breakup” rumours when their romance came to light, with people said to be “worried” about Ada.
However, the couple have since rubbished the claims by sharing photographs with their co-stars to mark show legend Ray Meagher’s 80th birthday this week.
Meanwhile, Ada has penned a lengthy tribute to her “father figure” and “life coach” Ray, who has played Alf Stewart since the first episode of Home and Away in 1998.
She gushed: ‘I know everyone calls him an “Australian icon” but to me, Ray, you are that and more… you are a father figure, a friend, a financial planner and an all-round life coach.
‘You’re the first person I think of when I need advice or have news to tell you. I look up to you in every way, you really are my role model and the best person to have a laugh and a drink with.
“Happy 80th birthday, Ray! And thank you for your love and support, and for always being so kind to my family and caring so much. We all truly adore you!”
