JP Nadda asked whether Mr. “Kejriwal was in jail or not”, and whether “Rahul Gandhi was out on bail or not”.

The opposition INDIA bloc is an alliance of dynastic parties, half of whose leaders are in jail and the other half on bail, BJP national president JP Nadda said today.
Mr Nadda made these remarks while addressing an election rally in Jhalawar in Rajasthan. The BJP has nominated Dushyant Singh from the Jhalawar-Baran Lok Sabha constituency.
“The INDI Alliance is a ‘Bhrastachar Bachao Alliance (save corruption alliance)’. It has parties in which the president comes from the family, the general secretary comes from the family and the ministers also come from the family. These are parties of the family,” Mr Nadda said.
He also alleged that Congress had committed fraud everywhere.
He asked, “Is Rahul Gandhi out on bail or not? Are Sonia Gandhi, Chidambaram, (AAP Rajya Sabha MP) Sanjay Singh out on bail or not? Are Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in jail or not?”
“Half of the leaders of the INDI Alliance are in jail and the other half are out on bail,” he said.
Mr Nadda also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said the country has made rapid progress under his leadership.
“Today India’s aspiration is that there should be a corruption-free government. There should be a development-oriented government. The country made rapid progress under the leadership of Modi ji,” Nadda said.
An unimaginable development should make India a “developed country”, he said.
The BJP leader also claimed that the situation in villages has changed under Modi’s leadership. There were 18,000 villages without electricity, which were electrified after Modi became prime minister in 2014.
Highlighting the development work of the BJP-led Centre, Mr Nadda said 3.5 lakh villages are connected by paved roads. Eighty crore people will receive free ration, resulting in 25 crore people moving above the poverty line.
He said 55 crore people – about 40 per cent of the population, including the poor, rickshaw pullers, tea sellers, bus drivers and cleaners – have been given an annual insurance facility of Rs 5 lakh for serious diseases under Ayushman Bharat. .
In Rajasthan, the Lok Sabha elections will be held in two phases this month.
