A man allegedly barricaded himself inside a home after stabbing a woman.
Paramedics rushed to the home in Gooseberry Hill, east of Perth, about 5pm on Tuesday after they found a woman with life-threatening stab wounds to her neck and torso.
She was taken to Royal Perth Hospital under lights and sirens, reportedly with multiple injuries.
It is understood neighbors discovered the woman in a garden and called for help shortly afterwards.
A large police operation is currently underway at the address with the presence of tactical officers.
