World Series-winning pitcher Greg Swindell asked for help finding his daughter

MLB World Series-winning pitcher Greg Swindell has made a public plea for help in finding his daughter, Brenna, who he says went missing from Austin, Texas, last week.

He and his wife Sarah have said they fear she is with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, who they claim is “violent” and “in trouble with the law since he assaulted her last month.”

They also said Brenna left without making contact with her three children, something they say she would never do without explanation.

Brenna has not been seen since last Thursday night and her missing white KIA was last seen on I-25 in Colorado on Friday night, with possible sightings of Guidry and the truck in Colorado Springs on Sunday night.

Early Monday morning, Swindell’s sister confirmed his last known location was in Boise, Idaho.

“Our daughter Brenna Swindell has not been seen or heard from in the Austin area since Thursday afternoon,” the Swindell family said on Facebook.

‘Her phone is off and she hasn’t been in contact with her family, friends and most importantly her children. Her ex-boyfriend in the photo has a warrant out for him and is violent so PLEASE if you have seen or heard from either of them please let us know. She is driving a white Kia Carnival which has not yet been located.’

They then added an update: ‘They were seen together on Thursday night and we were able to obtain a GPS from the KIA which is now in Colorado. Both phones appear to be there, but both are turned off. License plate VFS7528 Kia Carnival white.

Swindell confirmed he had been in contact with Guidry’s father, who had been cooperating and helping with the search.

“Please continue to pray for their safe return,” he added. “Thank you all again.”

Brenna was described as 5’5″ tall, weighing around 120 pounds and having shoulder-length brown hair.

She is also said to have distinctive tattoos, including a sleeve of flowers on one arm and a spider web tattoo on the other shoulder.

A later update from the family confirmed that a missing person report had been filed with the Department of Public Safety and that the Austin Police Department was handling the investigation.

However, the family said they had no further leads beyond the car passing a reader in Colorado on Friday night, as Brenna and Guidry’s phones were turned off.

Desperate and without any encouraging leads, they continued to urge the public, especially those located in Colorado, to continue coming forward with tips.

“We greatly appreciate all the tips and offers of help from the people of Colorado,” the family said.

“But we have no idea where in Colorado they are, or if they are still there. PLEASE keep sending us any sightings or information.”
