CFDA appoints new president
CaSandra Diggs, who last held the position of Chief Administrative and Financial Officer at The Council of Fashion Designers of America, has been promoted to president of the organization. The CFDA veteran, who joined the company in 2001, will report to the Chief Executive Steven Kolb and the board of directors. In her new role, she will oversee development strategy.
PVH Corp hires new Nike Chief Human Resources Officer
Julie Fuller, vice president of global talent and organizational effectiveness at Nike, has been named chief human resources officer of PVH Corp. effective January 1. Dave Kozel, executive vice president and current chief human resources officer, is on the verge of stepping down from the role by the end of 2020 and will serve as an advisor until 2021.
The Zoe Report hires a new editor-in-chief of Hearst Magazines
Kathy Lee, who most recently held the position of accessories director at Hearst Fashion Group, has been named editor-in-chief for The Zoe Report, effective August 24. In her new role, Lee will oversee The Zoe Report editorial activities, content development and brand experiences. She replaces Lauren Caruso, who left earlier this year, and will report to Emma Rosenblum, editor-in-chief of Bustle Digital Group’s lifestyle arm. (Bustle Digital Group acquired the online site in 2018 from stylist Rachel Zoe and husband and business partner Rodger Berman.)
Public Clothing Company assumes new president
Wendy Kahn, who last served as Global Chief Executive of Stuart Weitzman, has been named president of Public Clothing Company, effective September 8. Kahn, who has also held several senior leadership positions at Valentino and Marc Jacobs, will lead brand divisions including Derek LAM 10 Crosby and ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo Collections. She will report to Dan Shamdasani, CEO of PCC.
Puma appoints new CEO for the UK, Ireland and Benelux
Ben Hughes, most recently head of sales for the UK, Ireland and Benelux for Puma, has been promoted to general manager in the same region with immediate effect. Hughes, who joined the sportswear company in 2008, replaces Paul Spencer, who has been named Puma’s Regional Sales Director for Europe.
Personal Care Products Council appoints a new Chairman to the Board of Directors
The Personal Care Products Council, which owns brands such as Just for Men and Vagisil, has appointed Keech Combe Shetty as chairman of the board of directors. Combe Shetty is already Executive Chairman of Combe Inc. and sits on the board of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association.
Wolverine World Wide appoints new president
Brendan Hoffman, who was most recently CEO of Vince Holding Corp., has been named president of shoe manufacturer Wolverine World Wide, effective September 8. He has also been named to the company’s board of directors and will report to Blake W. Krueger, the current Chairman, CEO and President of Wolverine Worldwide. Hoffman, who has held various senior leadership roles at Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor and Bon-Ton, is expected to become the company’s future CEO over time. In his role as president, he will focus on driving growth in the group’s portfolio of lifestyle brands.
