Jurgen Klopp leads the way in The Best FIFA Coach of the Year nominations after guiding Liverpool to Champions League triumph… while Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino also make list
Jurgen Klopp has been nominated for FIFA Coach of the Year after guiding Liverpool to Champions League glory last season.
The charismatic German boss is one of 10 nominees with three from the Premier League as Klopp is joined by Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino.
World Cup-winning boss Didier Deschamps, Brazil manager Tite and Portugal’s Fernando Santos also make the list as Djamel Belmadi, Marcelo Gallardo, Ricardo Gareca and Erik ten Hag complete the nominees.

Klopp is considered to be one of the favourites for the award after securing his first trophy as Liverpool manager in Madrid.
He came within a point of guiding Liverpool to a famous Premier League title but was pipped on the final day by Guardiola’s relentless Manchester City side.
Pochettino, who was on the losing side against Klopp in the Champions League final, has been rewarded following an impressive campaign after guiding Tottenham to their first ever European Cup final.
France national team coach Deschamps clinched the award last season after guiding Les Bleus to glory at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
