If Kamala Harris beats Trump and wins the White House, will her friend Meghan embark on a political career?
In 2020, when Harris became Joe Biden’s running mate, Meg was effusive: “I’m so excited to see that kind of representation,” she told Gloria Steinem.
‘You know, for me, being biracial, growing up, whether it’s a doll or a person in office, you need to see someone that looks like you in some way.’
Harris has been similarly supportive of Meghan, especially for her Black Lives Matter campaign. Is there any chance that President Kamala will appoint Meghan as the U.S. ambassador to the Court of St. James?

Anne Robinson shares her top tips on name-droppers
Agony Aunt Saga Ana Robinson Advises on how to deal with name-droppers.
“Once the dinner is gaining momentum, you mention a famous name and then immediately throw the napkin in the air,” she advises.
‘Once everyone has had a few drinks, the party becomes a lot of fun as guests try to outdo each other on how many stories they can tell involving a well-known person. It’s also a polite way to point the finger at the worst offender.’
Surely something more lethal than napkins could fly if anyone mentions the name of Anne’s famous handshake. Andrew Parker Bowles!

Richard Coles says Strictly has a ‘dark heart’
Former Strictly contestant Richard Coles is doing the BBC no favours by announcing that the controversial dance show has a “dark heart”.
Revenge from Coles? He quit in a rage last year when his Saturday Live show on BBC Radio 4 moved from London to Cardiff, saying: “I felt a bit hasty in leaving.
He’s a great national institution and has more power in his elbow. It would be nice if he could distinguish that elbow from his ass from time to time.
