Destiny 2 Xur location, inventory for March 17-21

Xur, the strange exotic seller and Agent of the Nine, is back Lot 2. Xur brings with it an unpredictable roster of exotics, as well as a range of older Legendary armor and weapons that can help replenish your collection if you miss them.

The trader appears in the game weekly from Friday to reset and hangs out in random locations around the world Lot 2 – also in the tower.

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of ancient armor and weapons, similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. Usually these items are hard to find and come from seasons long past. Each item (armor or weapon) only costs 1,000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.

What is worth buying from Xur this week?

Here’s some more specific advice on Xur’s wares this week, March 17-21:

LORD OF WOLVES

Lord of wolves is a to leave shotgun. The exotic perk is Grenade launcher, causing the weapon to fire a burst of flaming shrapnel in a line. The secondary benefit is Release the wolves. Holding the reload button activates an alternate fire mode for Lord of Wolves that fires double ammo with each trigger pull and deals bonus damage.

Lord of Wolves is a great shotgun in both PvE and PvP. It was so powerful a few years ago that Bungie issued an emblem to players who encountered it in PvP. Bungie has since developed the weapon, but it’s still an interesting weapon to use in multiplayer or PvE.

HAPPY RASPBERRY

The Hunter Exotic is this week Happiness Raspberry. The main advantage here is Probability matrix, which enhances your Arc Bolt grenade, giving it a chance to reset after dealing damage and allowing it to chain more effectively. The cooldown also resets on a full chain. This chest piece is pretty mediocre compared to other Hunter Exotics, although some players love it.

CREST OF ALPHA LUPI

The Coat of arms of Alpha Lupi is a great Titan brisket. The exotic advantage, Survive well, causes Supers to generate more orbs. Barricade will also initiate the health recovery of nearby allies when deployed. This is great for some PvE content and extremely powerful in competitive PvP. Don’t miss this brisket.

GEOMAG STABILIZERS

Geomag Stabilizers are new Exotic boots from Lot 2: Abandoned. Their exotic perk is Close Enough, which makes Chaos Reach last longer while you deal damage with it. This is a fantastic Warlock Exotic. If you don’t already have them, make sure to pick them up.

Exotic Cipher Quest

Starting in Beyond the light, Xur has a new search for an Exotic Cipher. The Exotic Cipher allows you to purchase ancient Exotics from the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk in the Tower. You’ll need these items and some other currency to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur wants you to complete 21 Strikes or win Crucible or Gambit matches. Completing the quest will earn you an Exotic Cipher that you can use however you like.
