David Walliams treated his mother to a fun night out in London on Sunday night, taking her to The Devils Wears Prada The Musical charity gala.
The comedian, 53, was pictured smiling as he held hands with his beloved mother Kathleen, walking her down the red carpet to the stylish event, which was packed with famous faces.
David was dressed in a suit and boots for the occasion with a crisp white shirt and a striped jacket and trousers.
He was all smiles as he posed for a photo with his 81-year-old mother before taking his seat at The Dominion Theatre.
Her mother, 81, looked lovely in a green and black dress with a green velvet coat and a black Chanel lamb bag in her hand.
Many celebrities attended the world premiere.which is based on the 2006 comedy starring Meryl Streep.

The revelation comes just a week after David claimed he is “probably non-binary” while speaking candidly about his sexuality and gender identity in a new interview.
The comedian and author also admitted that he believes life “could have been easier” for him if he were gay.

David explained that if people used the same language we use now when he was younger, he would most likely have identified as non-binary.
He told the host: “I think in some ways I would probably say I’m non-binary.” I don’t know exactly.
The comedian recalled: ‘It’s interesting because I had a girlfriend after college and we used to go out.
‘I used to go to gay clubs and dance for about six hours and wear a skirt and stuff like that.

And he added: ‘I think it’s interesting. I mean, I find the change interesting. And I mean, you know, I wrote a book called The Boy in the Dress 15 years ago, which was considered a little edgier back then.
“And it’s always something… I’ve always felt like celebrating difference, so I’ve always thought it’s exciting.”
Reflecting on his identity both now and in his youth, he said: “I kind of think, where would I be positioning myself maybe if I were 19 or 20 now?
‘Because I went to Bristol University and got a degree in theatre. And I think that course is where you’re probably going to be… if there’s a group of people who are going to be more interested in that kind of area, more attracted to that area, it’s probably going to be drama students.’
Later in the podcast, host Josh Szeps asked: ‘And what about your sexuality? You’re always leaning towards “Britain’s most famous bi-curious comedian” or something, was that a real reflection of your adolescence? Did you play with boys?
David replied: ‘Yes, I would say so. Yeah, I was always at home with that too. Sometimes I think my life would be so much easier if I were just gay. Because I’m very attracted to gay things. I really like gay culture.’
Reflecting on the differences between him and his BBC co-star Matt Lucas, he continued: “It’s interesting because Matt Lucas is gay. And he likes football and also musicals, actually…

It comes after David revealed his mother found him “lifeless in bed” when he tried to take his own life during his university days.
The comedian experienced depression during his youth and made an attempt on his life on Christmas when he returned home from university.
talking to The timesDavid told how it was his mother Kathleen who found him and credited her with helping him out of his depression.
He said: ‘The weight of my depression had become unbearable. He knew something was wrong from an early age: a feeling of unbearable loneliness that he could never escape.
«Desperation loomed over me that first Christmas when I returned from university and I couldn’t live with her anymore. Mom discovered me lying lifeless in my bed, after having taken an overdose.
‘It broke his heart. He cried for weeks. I’m ashamed that I was so selfish in putting her through this, but her boundless love got me through it.’
David has always had a close relationship with his mother and said he always felt like he could be “completely myself” with her.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge said Kathleen encouraged his “flamboyant side” and rented him a wedding dress when he was cast as the queen on All the King’s Men while he attended an all-boys college.
He added that his mother always supported his comedy career, while his father, Peter, was more skeptical that he could make a career out of it.
David has spoken about his struggle with depression before, including in his 2012 autobiography, Camp David.
He wrote: ‘Many people who suffer from depression confirm that early morning is the worst time. At 4 in the morning you are totally alone.
It comes after David revealed his mother found him “lifeless in bed” when he tried to take his own life during their university days (pictured together in March 2024).
‘There’s no one to call. It was not only the terrible elemental sadness I felt, but also fear. Fear of death, fear of life, fear of love, fear of everything.’
During his appearance on Bear Grylls’ ITV show Bear’s Mission in 2019, David said becoming a father to his son Alfred had changed his life for the better.
He said: “I’m certainly in a better place now and one great thing about being a parent is that your whole life starts to revolve around them and you stop thinking about your own problems so much because you don’t have time to.” ‘
