Date:

’90s It Girl Chloë Sevigny was blown away when whistleblower and transgender trailblazer Chelsea Manning attended her “Sale of the Century” event in Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood on Sunday.

The 48-year-old Oscar nominee planted a kiss on the 35-year-old security consultant’s cheek as she clutched a pink garment next to a clothes rack in her storage unit.

Chelsea (née Bradley) was working as a US Army intelligence analyst when she shared nearly 750,000 classified/sensitive military and diplomatic documents with WikiLeaks, earning her a 35-year prison sentence in 2010.

Chloë – who has 1 million Instagram followers – Instastored a snap of the pair captioned: “Just wow.”

‘Finally! I wanted to play a glamorous character since The Last Days of Disco and she was only half glamorous. It was so much fun,” Chloë said. W Magazine last Thursday.

“I’ve read George Plimpton’s Truman Capote book. Slim Keith’s book. Capote’s Women book, which the show is based on. Obviously Truman’s own books. I’ve looked at countless photos of CZ online and different things people had written about her. There wasn’t a lot of video footage of her, oddly, but at first I was doing her accent all the way.

“I worked many hours. Ryan Murphy calls me up and says, “No one’s going to believe someone talks like that.” She would switch between a British, Boston and New York accent in one breath. He was like, “I think this is too difficult.” So I ended up having to water it down a bit.
