Britain’s only rumpologist appeared on This Morning today, describing the art of rumpology, or reading people’s bums.

Sam Amos joined hosts Josie Gibson and a slightly cynical Martin Lewis to analyze a group of bums, as well as to see if he could guess who someone was, just by looking at their bum.

He explained that rumpology works in a very similar way to palm reading: only, instead of looking at the various aspects of people’s hands, the rumpologist looks at the details of his client’s butt.

According to Sam, rumpology is an ancient practice that the Greeks used to determine if someone would be a good soldier.

By looking at the hosts’ butts, he made some predictions about their personalities.

Britain’s only rumpologist, Sam Amos (pictured on This Morning today) talks about what people’s bottoms say about them as people.

RUMPOLOGIST: Sam Amos (pictured, left) also analyzed the butts of hosts Josie Gibson (pictured, center) and Martin Lewis (pictured, right)

Describing Martin’s butt as “flat and square”, he said he would probably be a “fun person to be around”.

Moving on to Josie, Sam described her as “intuitive, obviously funny and…very sensitive too.”

When asked exactly what he was looking for, Sam said: “The shape of the bottom (for example) if people have high creases, (or) the lines under the cheeks and on the shallow lines on the bottom.”

She noted that, as a rumpologist, she “overlooks cellulite.”

Sam then moved on to look at three mysterious buttocks sticking out of holes in a shiny wall.

Looking at the first rear end, Sam noted that it was “muscular” and looked like it belonged to a “funny guy” (although Martin questioned whether this was because the owner was moving the rear end rather than because of its shape).

However, Sam correctly guessed that it was Chico’s butt.

Moving on to the second shapely butt, Sam said: ‘This lady has a heart-shaped butt. She is very perfectionist.

Three celebrities waited behind the gold screen while the rumpologist talked about what she does, before analyzing their behinds.

Sam (pictured) looked at the bottoms of anonymous celebrities to try and guess who they belonged to, guessing two out of three correctly.

Chico (pictured) was one of the mystery bottoms, and Sam was right in guessing who the anonymous bottom belonged to.

‘Also, I feel very close to the family. And I would say that he has recently received very good and exciting news related to his family.”

While Sam couldn’t guess who owned the butt (Cheeky Girl Monica Irimia), Monica confirmed that all of Sam’s predictions about her life were correct.

Describing the third mystery bottom, Sam said: ‘Lovely… I’d say basically (this lady) is very outgoing. But I also feel like a very classy lady. And I would also say very interested in the arts, creative.’

He correctly assumed that the rear guard belonged to Lizzie Cundy. The celebrity agreed with Sam’s description of her.

She said: ‘I’d say overall it was pretty accurate… it was actually really good. I am very artistic. I love painting itself. Very good. I’m impressed.’
