Britain’s Got Talent viewers threatened to tune out for good on Saturday after watching Sven Smith’s audition.
The 27-year-old Londoner was seen imitating playing a guitar to a medley of classic Queen hits and stripped down to reveal a pair of shiny trousers and a tattooed chest as he ran frantically around the stage.
Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli raved about the act, although Alesha Dixon pressed the buzzer and viewers at home seemed to be on her side.

The London hopeful tricked the audience into thinking he was about to play the guitar, but instead he ran across the stage while listening to a Queen medley and climbed onto the judges’ desk.
Sven won the judge’s vote after former MisTeeq singer Alesha was the only one who wanted him off the show and is now under consideration for the live semi-finals.
One angry viewer wrote: ‘He didn’t even do anything. He just ran around shaking his head and playing air guitar. That was completely useless. Absolute sex! #bgt.’
A fourth said: ‘#BGT #BritainsGotTalent the word Talent is in the title of the show. I want my money back!
But it wasn’t all negative for the aspiring star, who tricked audiences into believing he was actually a musician when he took to the stage with an empty guitar case.
One person commented on the YouTube video: “I don’t know why but I actually liked this,” while another fan described it as “fire.”
As Queen’s hit Don’t Stop Me Now blared through the London Palladium, Sven ran through the audience and former West End star Amanda jumped from her spot on the table to dance.
Sven then went up to the judge’s desk, where the judges and crowd cheered him even more.
As the audience cheered, she said, ‘There was a lot going on right there!’
Viewers were furious to see that a man had made it onto Britain’s Got Talent by playing air guitar.
Sven stated that he had been watching the show since he was little and having the opportunity to participate was a dream come true.
Moments after beginning his act, Sven stripped down to reveal a sparkly suit and tattooed chest.
Ant and Dec looked confused backstage as they continued with their presenting duties on the ITV1 show.
Judges Bruno Tonioli, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell were impressed by the bizarre act, but Alesha Dixon (second left) was not.
One viewer threatened that the act could be the “final blow” in the long-running competition series.
Simon said, ‘Let me tell you something. It was so stupid it was brilliant. It really made me laugh!
‘I love the way you’re so surprised!’
Sven said: ‘I love Simon, but I didn’t know if Simon would love me!’
He then claimed that if he won the show, his act would be suitable to be performed in front of King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Royal Variety Act.
