New Delhi: The car of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda’s wife was stolen from Govindpuri area of southeast Delhi, according to sources. The theft took place on March 19 between 3pm and 4pm, sources revealed.
According to sources, the driver of the car, Joginder, had taken the vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner, to Govindpuri after servicing and had stopped to have dinner at his home. During this period the car was stolen.
While reviewing CCTV footage, authorities discovered that the stolen car was heading towards Gurugram. However, despite efforts, no trace of the vehicle has been found yet, sources said.
The stolen car bears the registration number of Himachal Pradesh.
Investigations are on and police are working to locate and recover the stolen Fortuner, sources told WhatsNew2Day.
