A local Mexican television station needs a refresher course in Journalism 101 after a viewer tricked it into showing a video clip of a man’s testicles during a live broadcast of the solar eclipse.
RCG TV, a station in the northeastern state of Coahuila, was broadcasting the cosmic event during its ’24/7′ midday newscast and sharing videos provided by its viewers when it made the viral mistake.
A male presenter listed cities where residents had a clear view of the eclipse as production staff showed a video of a man’s testicles moving across the screen to block a light.
‘They would be the municipalities where it could be appreciated the most,’ he stated.
RCG TV presenters were caught off guard during a live broadcast of the station’s ’24/7′ midday newscast when the producer cut to the total solar eclipse and broadcast a video of a man’s testicles.
Local Mexican television station RCG TV made the mistake of not examining one of its viewers during its live broadcast of Monday’s rare eclipse and showed a video of a man’s testicles sent in by a viewer.
The disgusting video was later cut off when one of the two presenters gasped and looked at it.
“This last video is from a fan,” he said. ‘Thank you, we insist to the people who are reporting.’
A social media user under the name X of @Rhevolver claimed responsibility for the cruel prank and blamed the network for not doing due diligence.
‘Greetings to all my people from Saltillo who had to watch my eggs on television because those at @rcg_media forgot to carefully review the video of the eclipse,’ he wrote. ‘I love you.’
X user @Rhevolver took to the social media platform to claim responsibility for sharing a testicle video that aired during RCG TV’s daytime news.

According to local media, the video clip has existed since 2017.
RCG Media, which owns a television station and a chain of radio stations, had not commented on the incident as of Tuesday afternoon.
Apparently his viewers were not offended by the joke as they flooded his X account with jokes.
“They streamed the egglipse,” one person commented.
Another asked the television station: ‘Why do you see so many hairs in the sun?’
‘Thank you very much for your program. You made my day,’ wrote an X user while adding a couple of laughing and tearful emojis.
