He was loaned to Middlesbrough last season, where he played a key role for Neil Warnock’s side, as they failed to secure a place in the play-offs.
But he is being drafted by a number of Premier League clubs for next season as they want to strengthen their goalkeeping division.
Chelsea and Arsenal are among the clubs that also follow Bettinelli.
Bettinelli was called up to the England squad by Gareth Southgate during the 2017-18 season after a string of outstanding performances for Fulham, but the club’s relegation back in the Championship season effectively halted his international ambitions.
But he is now ready for a return to the top for the coming season.
