- The Russian became furious during one of his returns and hit himself with his racket.
- This comes after a similar collapse at the French Open that raised alarm bells.
Andrey Rublev has again sparked concerns for his well-being after unleashing a furious tirade against himself during his first-round match at Wimbledon.
The emotional Russian hit his legs seven times with his racket after a bad return in a tight match against Francisco Comesana on Court No. 2.
In May, after his collapse at the French Open, Rublev admitted: “I don’t remember ever behaving worse at a Grand Slam” after storming out of the Paris Grand Slam kicking and screaming.
Now it is his antics at Wimbledon that have set off alarm bells.
