Shocking footage captured the wild moment a woman smashed a car’s windscreen in a violent road rage incident.

New Zealander Chantelle Baker was driving behind a blue Mazda Demio in Rangiora, near Christchurch, on Saturday when the incident occurred.

Suddenly, two women ran out of the Mazda and ran towards Ms Baker’s car.

The windshield was shattered when one of the women jumped on the hood and stomped on it.

The woman then jumped out of the car, opened the driver’s side door and yelled, “Fuck you.”

Ms Baker quickly put the car in reverse and drove away from the scene as the women ran back to their own car.

Ms Baker claimed the road rage incident began after the Mazda driver nearly caused a crash in a merging lane.

“They followed me closely as I was slowing down to 40 kilometres after witnessing a near collision behind me,” Barker said.

One of the women jumped onto the bonnet before stomping on the windscreen, breaking the glass.

Ms Barker said rocks were thrown at her car, hitting a window where her eight-month-old baby was sleeping.

“I then found them and tried to take a picture of their license plate and as soon as they saw me pull over, they ran at me, jumping on the windshield and throwing glass all over the car and opening my car doors trying to grab me,” he said.

Ms Baker explained that the vehicle she was driving was a “borrowed car” and she now had to pay to replace the damaged windscreen.

Police confirmed that a report was received in relation to the incident.

“A driver apparently followed another driver after a car failed to merge properly,” police told the NZ Herald.

‘The cars stopped at a petrol station where one person apparently got out and jumped on top of the other person’s vehicle, breaking a window.’

In 2022, Meta deactivated Baker’s Facebook page after he shared misleading and “harmful” information about the vaccine.

A report by independent research group The Disinformation Project found that Baker’s livestreams had higher engagement than traditional media outlets despite spreading false claims.
