Anurag Thakur said that youth are shaping the future of India.

New Delhi:

Union Minister Anurag Thakur today said that the youth of the country or the yuva is fully committed to the growth of India.

“Yuva means empowerment, development, passion, growth and dedication,” Mr Thakur said at the WhatsNew2Day Yuva conclave.

“India’s yuva is so committed that the country has become the third largest startup hub in the last decade,” he said.

He said that the youth are shaping the future of India and the term yuva has nothing to do with age.

“When I look at Prime Minister Modi, when he flies Tejas or goes deep-sea diving, I realize that being a yuva is about your thinking and working.” he said.

There is a lot of awareness among today’s youth, Mr Thakur said, adding that they are also aware of their rights.

Mr Thakur claimed that his boss, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is the best because he is strict at work but friendly to the citizens of India.

“Most people here have their bosses. But my boss, Prime Minister Modi, is the best. He is the strictest at work but the friendliest to the citizens of India,” Thakur said.

“He hasn’t taken a single vacation in 23 years. Even when his mother died, he simply took a two-hour break for the funeral and then went back to work. That is the kind of commitment the Prime Minister has,” he added. .
