Fans were left shocked after pictures emerged of a very skinny Lara Worthington at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2024 in Sydney on Wednesday night.
The 37-year-old model turned heads for all the wrong reasons in a green and yellow plaid dress that exposed the mother of four’s bony shoulders and extremely prominent spine.
‘I’ll be honest. I was really scared by Lara’s back…’ commented one online observer.
Another critic said Lara’s marked change in appearance was due to “all the body fat she’s lost, and her spine looks striking too.”
Many more commented on Worthington’s weight loss, writing: “Lara looks too skinny, her beauty is gone.”
“Is Mrs. Worthington in Ozempic too?” reflected another.

“Lara had a facial job, she looks totally different and too skinny,” one commented.
Another added: ‘Not a fan of her skinny and bony look. I’m sorry.’
Lara’s night at the Sydney-based awards show got off to a rocky start when a red carpet interview with the couple went horribly wrong on live TV.
Channel Seven reporter Sally Bowery introduced Sam’s wife, 37, to viewers at the Sydney event by her maiden name Lara Bingle, and it all went down like a lead balloon.
“Her name is Lara Worthington,” the Avatar star, 48, responded.
“It’s only been ten years,” Sam quickly added, clearly irritated.
Bowery quickly apologized for his disastrous misstep.
“That was my slip,” he said.

Late last night, the Avatar star was crowned GQ’s Man of the Year.
The couple arrived in Australia with their young family on Tuesday.
The model arrived at Sydney Airport on Tuesday with her husband, Sam Worthington, and their three young children, Racer, eight, River, four, and Rocket, nine.
The notoriously private couple welcomed their son River under a cloak of secrecy, with his birth estimated to have occurred sometime between March and June 2020.
Their oldest children were born in 2015 and 2016.
When it comes to parenting, Sam told Stellar magazine that he doesn’t always get it right, but he does the best he can.
‘I’ve tried to handle (fame) carefully. It’s difficult; There is no book that tells you how to do it. “There is no set of rules,” he told the publication.
“Her name is Lara Worthington,” the Avatar star, 48, responded. “It’s only been ten years,” Sam quickly added, clearly irritated.
‘I’ve made some mistakes. And that’s fine. You grow from that.’
Sam also highlighted that it is important for him that his children know a normal life full of sports and cartoons like any other child, far from the traps of fame.
“Now that I have kids, it’s more about protecting my kids from (the attention),” she said at the time.
‘At the moment, my children don’t care what their father does. They don’t see my work in any way spectacular.
‘They just want me to take them to soccer practice and hang out and watch Paw Patrol. You are doing everything you can to achieve this balance and that is all you can do.”
Lara also told The Daily Telegraph that the couple, who met in 2013, are enjoying growing older together.
‘As a family unit, we are all very close. We only have each other. Sam and I are a good team,’ he said.
Lara and Sam began dating in 2013 and secretly married in 2014.
