Jesse Baird attended a birthday party with accused cop killer Beau Lamarre-Condon less than a year before his alleged murder, as police documents claim the former Channel 10 star’s housemates jabbed his body as he lay under a tarp.
The bodies of Mr Baird, 26, and his boyfriend, flight attendant Luke Davies, 29, were left in the backyard of their rented home in Paddington for several hours after Lamarre-Condon, 28, , allegedly shot them dead on February 19.
A housemate approached and pushed one of the two surfboard bags covered by a blue tarp around 5:40 p.m., according to police documents.
She told police the contents felt “lumpy, not like there was a surfboard inside” and that she had also noticed red-stained cobblestones under the bags.
The woman assumed the tiles had been stained by beet juice spilled by Mr. Baird, who was known by his fellow tenants to be “messy,” the documents say.
The housemates exchanged messages and took photographs of the tarp-covered bags as well as a blood-stained outdoor lounge, police will allege.
It comes as a new photo emerges of Mr Baird and Lamarre-Condon attending their mother Coleen Lamarre’s 60th birthday party.
The photo, which shows both men smiling in stylish party shirts, was taken less than a year before Lamarre-Condon was charged with Baird’s murder.

Baird and Lamarre-Condon had previously had what police described as an on-again, off-again romance, but Baird had not wanted to enter into a relationship.
The couple were photographed smiling side by side at the Balmain sailing club in Sydney’s inner west at the March 2023 party.

Lamarre-Condon then allegedly collected the bodies from Paddington’s home in a white rental van 12 hours later and drove them to a remote farm property in Bungonia, about 180 kilometers southwest of Sydney.
The senior officer is alleged to have returned to the scene to move the bodies to another location in Bungonia, about a 20-minute drive away.
Human remains belonging to Davies and Baird were discovered stuffed inside surf bags and buried in a shallow grave on Tuesday afternoon.
Lamarre-Condon is currently at the Silverwater Correctional Complex in western Sydney.
His matter is before the courts.
