It’s been a tough three years in New York for Wilson, who was selected second overall in 2021.
He finished his time in the Big Apple with a 12-21 record with the Jets.
Despite expectations that he would be a backup to Jets starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers last season, Wilson saw action in Week 1 after the four-time NFL MVP tore his tendon. of Achilles in just four plays of his career with the Jets in September.
Wilson went back and forth between starting and being on the bench, but turned in his best performance of the 2023 season with a dominant 30-6 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 14.

Although the Broncos have journeyman Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci, there is no clear starter at quarterback, and many now expect Denver to be in the mix for a highly rated signal caller in the 2024 NFL Draft, which begins Thursday .
It has been suggested that former Oregon quarterback Bo Nix will be selected by the Broncos at No. 12, as projected by Steve Serby of the New York Post.
