A ‘fart shooter’ is topping the Christmas charts this year as experts predict record sales.
The toy, from the American Despicable Me film franchise, has a whopping 15 different sounds and comes with two scents, banana and “fart”.
The game sells for £29.99 and promises to take “quiet but stinky farting to a whole new level”.
It will certainly spark conversation with families on Christmas Day, as fart sounds range from a small “squeaker” to the ultimate triumph of “cleaning the room.”
And it looks like kids can choose whether the house smells like “farts” or sweet bananas, as the toy comes with the option of two vials that can be loaded into the battery-powered machine.

The fart launcher appeared on the Toy Retailers Association’s annual list of the top 20 ‘most popular toys’, along with the Lego 2023 McLaren F1 race car, FurReal Peanut the Playful Monkey and UNO Show ’em No Mercy.

This year the list includes 14 toys costing £50 or less due to the cost of living crisis as the festive season can be expensive for parents.
