Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest Android tablet in India. The company has confirmed that it will Xiaomi pad 6 in the country next week. Now, ahead of the new launch, the Chinese smartphone maker has dropped the price of its Xiaomi Pad 5 Android tablet launched last year. The Xiaomi Pad 5 comes in two variants and both have received a price cut.

Xiaomi Pad 5 is available in two variants: 128 GB and 256 GB for Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999. The 128 GB version has received a price cut of Rs 1,000 while the 256 GB variant has received a price drop of Rs 500. The customers can buy the 128 GB version for Rs 25,999 and the 256 GB variant for Rs 28,499 after the price cut. The Android tablet can be purchased in Cosmic Gray color. Xiaomi also gives an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on the ICICI bank credit card.

Xiaomi Pad 5 has an 11-inch WQXGA display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The screen offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and comes with Dolby Vision support.
Under the hood, this Android tablet packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset accompanied by 6GB of RAM. It is available in two storage options: 128 GB and 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 runs on the Android 11 operating system and is customized with the company’s own MIUI for Pad, enhancing the user experience. The tablet is equipped with a 13MP main camera for capturing memorable moments and an 8MP front camera for high-quality selfies.
The Android tablet is backed by an 8720 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In addition to its features, the Xiaomi Pad 5 is compatible with the Xiaomi Smart Pen, which boasts 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. This stylus has multiple functions, including taking notes, taking screenshots, and more. The pen easily charges magnetically when attached to the tablet and provides a battery backup of up to 8 hours.
