It’s been a rollercoaster 12 months for the Prince and Wale’s princess.
And, as the couple celebrates their 13th wedding anniversary today, there will be plenty to reflect on together.
There were some wonderful moments, including the coronation from William’s father, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, who marked an important change, not only in the Monarchy, but also in the lives of the new Prince and Princess of Wales.
And there was plenty of hard work too, as Kate and William carried out a combined total of 237 official engagements, including such notable occasions as the Welsh Guards’ St David’s Day Parade, Trooping the Colour, the Festival of Remembrance, the Royal Variety Performance and Together for Christmas Christmas carol service.
However, recent months have brought sadness and worry, in particular the continuing health problems of the Princess who, following major abdominal surgery earlier this year, is now undergoing treatment for an unspecified form of cancer.
Throughout all of this, the princess has had the unconditional support of her husband, William, as she told the nation in that moving video speech just a few weeks ago.
The warmth of Kate and William’s personal chemistry has also been a feature of their public appearances.
