From eating interesting food combinations that stink on the carriage to massive fights, Londoners have witnessed a number of strange occurrences on the tube.
Travelers to the capital have seen their fair share of sights, and only a few truly shocking things manage to draw people’s attention away from their phones.
However, one passenger was left truly horrified after a fellow tube passenger proceeded to massage his partner’s bare feet on public transport.
Lola Browne was traveling on the Northern line of the London Underground and was delighted when she managed to get a seat in the busy carriage.
But her journey soon took a turn for the worse in a TikTok that has since gone viral with more than 1.4 million views and 311,000 likes.
Lola Browne was left truly horrified after a fellow tube passenger proceeded to massage her partner’s bare feet on public transport.
The peaceful trip was quickly interrupted by a cheeky couple who couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
A man dressed in a black quilted jacket and blue jeans was sitting directly next to Lola.
His companion sat across from him looking a little worn out.
On TikTok, the woman appears to be holding a takeout bag and a pack of cigarettes in her hands.
Suddenly, he takes one foot out of his Ugg boots and places his leg across the aisle and over his partner’s lap, blocking the way.
He then begins to caress and rub the soles of his bare feet just millimeters from Lola’s legs as the train approaches Euston station.
“Get me out of here immediately,” she says angrily. Other passengers were incredulous at the strange images.
One person said: “Not to be dramatic but I’d text the TFL police,” and a second joked: “See it, say it, done.”
He then begins to caress and rub the soles of his bare feet just millimeters from Lola’s legs as the train approaches Euston station.
Other passengers and those on TikTok were left in disbelief at the strange images.
“I’d say no way, but there is because it’s London,” another person joked.
Meanwhile, someone else questioned: ‘What kind of love is this?’
Others commented: ‘What’s going on?’ and “I’d just start screaming, I don’t know.”
“The London Underground is truly an experience,” added another Brit.
Another guessed: “This is definitely the Bakerloo line,” to which Lola confirmed it was the Northen line.
“Get the London look” and “A normal day in London,” others joked.
The incident comes just after a pregnant woman sparked an online debate by complaining that it took 10 minutes for someone to offer her a seat on the subway.
Sophia Amelia, who posts under the name @sophiaamelia92, shared a video of the experience on TikTok, which has already been viewed by more than 244,000 people.
In the clip, the mother records the scene inside the subway while she passes through several stops with her standing and no one offers her a seat.
She captioned the video: “It literally took me 10 minutes to get a seat this day.”
‘I have a baby badge on board and people clearly DID see me and then quickly looked at their phones.
“In the end, a woman offered me her seat, but it’s ALWAYS women who do it, men avoid it.”
The video quickly circulated online as people expressed their different opinions; some insisted that the mother should ask for a seat.
