Todd Chrisley’s daughter Savannah has claimed that things have gotten “extremely” worse for her father since he spoke out about the poor conditions he allegedly lives in the Florida prison where he is serving time for tax evasion.
In December, reality star Todd described the “devastating” conditions inside the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, calling the food “dirty” and claiming guards were persecuting him for his privileged lifestyle.
Now, in an interview with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation’s Cuomo This week, Savannah claimed her father faces brutal “retaliation” for speaking out.
‘Yes, the reprisals have gotten much worse. “They’re trying, they’re retaliating against their friends, just hoping to turn on my father for some strange reason, but that doesn’t stop us,” he said.
Savannah also said the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and the Office of Internal Affairs (OIA) are “currently investigating” Todd’s situation.

“So I’m grateful for that and I hope that everything is discovered,” she stressed.
Since speaking out, Savannah says she has received letters from former inmates at the prison sharing their own experiences.
‘I receive letters every day. I received a letter from a veteran speaking about the extreme abuse he suffered at FPC Pensacola.
While she did not offer any evidence, Savannah also claimed that prisoners at the facility had experienced “sexual abuse” before.
‘It’s heartbreaking for me that this is happening, but like I said, I’m not doing this just for my parents. “I do this for all the other men and women who are currently incarcerated and cannot fight for themselves,” he told Cuomo.

In February, Todd claimed he faced retaliation from prison guards for speaking out about conditions at the Florida prison where he was being held for tax evasion.
Speaking to NewsNation’s Brian Entin about Banfield, the ‘Chrisley Know Best’ star, 54, said guards did not allow him to enter the chapel to pray at the federal prison camp, Pensacola, where he is serving a sentence of 10 years.
“They had kicked the priest out of here in the middle of his service. They forced him to leave,” Chrisley said. “They never found any contraband there.”

The reality star insisted that she was prevented from entering the prison chapel to pray and that guards were conducting searches for contraband due to her upcoming interview.
The 54-year-old and his wife, Julie, 50, were found guilty of committing tax evasion and bank fraud totaling $30 million in June 2022. Julie is serving 14 months in Kentucky.
He further claimed that the guards were conducting searches after learning that he would be doing another interview, insisting that they were trying to “intimidate” him.
“I just came out and said, ‘It’s not going to be casual what I’m going to say,'” Chrisley continued.
The television personality and his wife Julie, 50, were found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud totaling $30 million in June 2022.
Chrisley’s 12-year sentence was reduced to 10 years, while his wife’s seven-year sentence was reduced to 14 months. She has been held at the Lexington Federal Medical Center in Kentucky since January 2023.
The 54-year-old previously spoke to NewsNation in December, when he accused prison guards of “starving” inmates and serving expired food.
He claimed that rats and squirrels had been found in the food warehouse, and claimed that a dead cat once fell onto the food supplies from a mold-ridden ceiling, a claim that a prison source categorically denied.
The reality star said he only ate meals he prepared himself at the commissary and described the conditions as “disgustingly dirty.”
He claimed that the guards were targeting him because of his privileged status as a celebrity.
“There are recordings of staff members talking about ‘he needs to be humiliated,'” Todd said.
“What we have to do is put him on diesel therapy, put him in shackles and let him travel around the country, and then bring him back and that will humiliate him.”
The Federal Bureau of Prisons denied Chrisley’s claims and insisted that inmates were kept in clean, humane conditions.
The reality star claimed there were recordings of prison staff talking about how they wanted to “humiliate” him because of his celebrity status.
The couple’s daughter, Savannah, 26, echoed her father’s allegations of mistreatment and further claimed that prison staff were placing cell phones and drugs in her cell.
A source told DailyMail.com that Chrisley’s family were concerned for her safety following her decision to speak out “because she’s trying to take on Goliath when she doesn’t know anything about how the system really works.”
“Todd is thinking inside his little box on his little platform, but there are those who have been in his prison their entire lives and haven’t said anything for fear of what would happen if they did,” the source continued.
“Everyone wishes he hadn’t done all this, and they think (his daughter Savannah Chrisley) isn’t helping out on her end either.”
The 26-year-old has been a strong advocate and has publicly echoed her father’s claims of retaliation by prison staff.
The source continued: ‘She is advocating against the terrible conditions of a federal prison as if she lived there. She only knows what Todd tells her.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons responded directly to Chrisley’s allegations in a statement.
“The mission of the Federal Bureau of Prisons is to operate facilities that are safe and humane,” the statement read.
‘We take seriously our duty to protect those entrusted to our custody, as well as maintain the safety of our employees and the community. The humane treatment of the men and women in our custody is a top priority.’
In an interview, Chrisley said he wasn’t allowed to call his wife “because of what Savannah is doing.”
A source told DailyMail.com that Julie could divorce her husband “for convincing her to follow his foolproof plan that landed them in prison.”
The agency clarified that expired food is ‘discarded and unused.’
Chrisley said he had not been allowed to call his wife because of his daughter’s outlandish claims.
These included allegations that prison staff planted mobile phones and drugs in his cell.
“It’s devastating,” he said. “You know she and I email four or five times a day, but they withhold my emails and keep them on their phone, and it’s a way of punishing us for what Savannah is doing.”
A source told DailyMail.com that the couple seemed headed for a split.
“Julie’s friends are certain she will eventually divorce Todd for convincing her to go along with his foolproof plan that landed them in prison,” the source said.
Last month, the Chrisleys secured a $1 million settlement from the state of Georgia.
They were previously acquitted of one count of state tax evasion and took action against Joshua Waites, former director of Special Investigations for the Georgia Department of Revenue.
The couple filed a lawsuit against Waites in October 2019, accusing him of sharing confidential tax and grand jury information with their estranged daughter, Lindsie.
The suit sought compensatory and punitive damages, as well as reimbursement of legal fees.
Before reaching a settlement, the couple and their lawyers had insisted for months that the state’s case against them was “very unusual and had real problems.”
A 2021 investigation also found that the couple had been “unfairly targeted” due to their fame.
