Kmart Australia has relaunched its popular heated blanket in stores, just in time for winter.

The Sherpa Heated Blanket has been described as “elite” by customers who have already scored an affordable purchase that acts as a cheaper alternative to regular heaters.

Priced at just $39, the blanket quietly returned to shelves with shoppers bragging about their purchase on social media.

Sophie, from Sydney, quickly bought the blanket last week, calling it “the best money she’s ever spent”.

‘Honestly, go to Kmart and get one of these warm sherpa blankets. “I’m so cozy,” she said in a TikTok while she was wrapped in the blanket.

The product uses only 100W, while a standard heater typically uses up to 2000W, which can quickly increase your electricity bills.

The Kmart version is also very affordable compared to others on the market which can range from $55 to $199.

It is designed with a detachable controller, variable heat settings, and a 12-hour timer.

Last month, customers also noted the return of the “must-have” $20 OXX Essentials microwave slippers, but not everyone agreed.

Bella, from Adelaide, spotted the latest purchase while browsing her local store and grabbed a pair.

“Kmart has done it again with microwaveable slippers for winter,” she wrote on TikTok and shared a now-viral image. video.

The short video quickly caught the attention of the masses with many declaring that they “can’t wait to run to Kmart.”

However, many others questioned why anyone would want to put slippers in the microwave where food is placed.
