Jade Thirlwall went eyebrow-less as she stepped out with boyfriend Jordan Stephens and friends in London on Thursday night.

The 31-year-old singer, who will soon release her first solo single, looked gorgeous in a sheer red dress at a dinner hosted by Beat magazine at The Standard hotel.

She wore a long-sleeved shirt with billowy sleeves, unbuttoned to reveal her bra, which was also red at the event, which was held in honor of Jade posing on the cover of the magazine.

Jade paired her shirt with a floor-length skirt, featuring an extra-high slit, and completed her look with silver high heels.

Jordan, 32, of Rizzle Kicks, sweetly kissed Jade’s head and was wearing a pale green sweater, tan sweatpants and a light blue baseball cap.

There with the couple was 29-year-old singer and producer MNEK, known for his big hits with Zara Larsson: Never Forget You and Ain’t My Fault.

The intimate gathering was rounded out by industry personalities Tinea Taylor, Mahalia and Harriet Rose. Attendees included Amelia Dimoldenberg, Tolu Coker and Bimini.

Jade’s dinner comes after she appeared on the cover of Beat magazine, her first solo magazine cover.

She had appeared in several magazines with the girl group Little Mix, of which she was a member from 2011 to 2022.

On Beat, Jade spoke about Angel Of My Dreams, which will follow Jesy Nelson’s Boyz in 2021, Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s Don’t Say Love in 2023 and Perrie Edwards’ Forget About Us in April.

She said of the song: ‘I wanted Angel Of My Dreams to feel like a huge, relentless, powerful pop punch in your face.’

And he said of its creation: ‘I was in Los Angeles and I was feeling a bit lonely anyway, and then someone called to tell me that the boss of my label, the man who had signed me, was leaving. I went into a very deep spiral.

“I went into the studio thinking about how fickle the music industry is and how much I love this job, but also how much I hate it. I explained the concept to (producer) Mike Sabath, which is kind of a love-hate relationship with the industry, but it feels like it’s a relationship.”

Little Mix's ex-girlfriend Jade will release Angel Of My Dreams on July 19, she announced on Tuesday.

Jade explained that she originally wanted the song to be about a loving but toxic relationship, but decided to be more explicit in the lyrics.

She also shared that she is obsessed with pop and wants to be the next big star, but found it difficult to break out of the safety net that comes with being in a girl group.

Jade is looking to follow in the footsteps of S Club’s Rachel Stevens, who enjoyed solo success with songs including Some Girls and Sweet Dreams My LA Ex.

Her former group, Little Mix, formed and won The X Factor in 2011, becoming the first group to do so in the talent show’s seven-year history.

Originally a four-piece, Jesy left Little Mix in 2020 to protect her mental health and the girl band officially disbanded two years later.

Jesy, 33, has had her most successful debut to date with Boyz reaching number four in the UK charts.

Boyz, featuring Nicki Minaj, is followed by Perrie’s Forget About Us, which peaked at No. 10, and Leigh-Anne’s Don’t Say Love, which peaked at No. 11.

Jade announced Angel Of My Dreams on Tuesday and Leigh-Anne, her boyfriend Jordan Stephens, from Rizzle Kicks, and her The X Factor mentor Tulisa Contostavlos all commented with their congratulations.

Angel Of My Dreams is said to be a “frantically shifting, gloriously over-the-top hit that explores her love/hate relationship with the pop industry.”

The single was written in Los Angeles by Jade alongside Steph Jones, who wrote Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso, Pablo Bowman, the man behind Calvin Harris’ Miracle, and the aforementioned Mike, who has worked with RAYE.

Jade continued: ‘I didn’t want to make a safe first single, that was very important to me,’ she said.

“I’m setting the tone for who I am as an artist on my own. I want people to hear it and be like, ‘what the hell is that song?’ My worst nightmare is someone hearing my song and being like, ‘that’s good.'”

The success will be overwhelming and unapologetic, and Jade says she transmits “great pop girl energy” after falling into a… ‘A long and carefully chosen path’ to write it.

She added: “It is OTT, it’s ridiculous and gloriously WTF. I’m very proud of it and I can say it with my chest bare.

“The fans have waited so long, so now we just want to give it to them.”
