The actor, 67, ditched his usual coiffed gray hair and donned a bright purple tracksuit as he was seen on the pitch supporting the match.
Ray and singer Rod, 79, led a team of retired footballers for a special charity match.
The match was held at Bishop Stortford FC near Essex and was for the Charlie Dukes Fund to raise money for good causes including the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.

Ray shared some snaps from the charity day on his Instagram and wrote: ‘Yesterday was a fabulous day at Steve Dukes Charity Day for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
‘An incredible participation by the fans and the players. Congratulations to Steve and his family for once again organizing this fantastic event and a special thank you to Rod and Penny for their support.
‘Steve has raised over £200,000 so far with the help of local people. And a special shout out to the RAF guys who did the honors that day.”
Earlier in the weekend, Sir Rod smiled as he and his son Aidan watched his beloved Celtic FC team beat Hearts 3-0 in the Scottish Cup at Glasgow’s Celtic Park on Saturday.
The iconic musician wore a suit, boots and was seen in the stands with the elegantly dressed 12-year-old, whom he shares with his son Alistair, 18, with his wife Penny Lancaster, 53.
Sir Rod wore his blonde locks in his trademark spiky style and couldn’t wipe the smile off his face at the end of the game.

Last month, Sir Rod joined his sons Aiden and Alistair in Glasgow to watch their team secure a place in the Scottish Cup final.
