A bar in Mexico that “evokes the bygone era of the Hollywood speakeasy” has been named the best in the world.

The continent has 19 bars on the list and four are in the UK capital – number 4 Tayer + Primary, Bar Connaught at number 13, Satan’s mustaches at number 29 and Bar Scarves at number 37. Elsewhere in the UK, Panda and children in Edinburgh it rises nine places to 30th place.
