A major dairy company issues a recall of a product sold at Woolworths over contamination concerns

Fleurieu Milk Company has recalled its pouring cream products over concerns that batches were contaminated with E. coli bacteria.

Affected batches were available for sale at Woolworths, IGA, independent food retailers in South Australia and independent food retailers in VIC, NSW and NT.

Batches pulled by April 6th, April 7th, and April 8th will be used and have been recalled due to possible bacterial contamination.

“Any consumer concerned about their health should seek medical advice and customers should return the product(s) to the place of purchase for a full refund,” it said in a statement.

‘We apologize for any inconvenience.’
