Conservative women have shared on social media how many days they have lived as a woman, in response to Bad Light’s decision to celebrate “365 days of dyeing” by sexual influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Mulvaney, 26, came out as a transgender woman in March 2022 and began chronicling her “dying days” on TikTok, detailing her transition experience.
Mulvaney marked her 221st, in October, with a visit to the White House, where she interviewed Joe Biden about transgender health care, and the president said he felt “people fear what they don’t know.”
On April 1st, she announced she was an “ambassador” for Bud Light, and the brewer created a special edition can to celebrate the 365 days since she began her life as a woman.
The move created a backlash, and women are now sharing their “femininity days” online with posts beginning with “Today, I’m celebrating” — a trend some men have jumped on, too.

Dylan Mulvaney made the ad herself on Instagram during the beer company’s promotional event for the NCAA March Madness Championship

“Today I celebrate 12,620 days of true womanhood,” one of the messages tweeted, going by MAGA Barbie.

“Today, I celebrate 13,262 days as a woman,” Loren Boebert, the controversial Republican congresswoman from Colorado, wrote on Twitter. I’ve been pregnant five times (miscarried in 2012) and have given birth to four wonderful boys right out of my womb.
Any day now, one of those four boys will make me a grandmother.
“Femininity is much more than wearing makeup and a skirt for Internet videos.”
Another said: “Today I celebrate 18,155 days of womanhood.
I have carried 8 babies in my womb. I gave birth to/raised 6. I had triple negative breast cancer and would have developed ovarian cancer had I not removed my ovaries in time. No man can say these things, even if he fits my gender.
One woman posted a picture of her pregnant belly, and said, “Today, I’m celebrating 12,065 days of being a woman.
I am a sister, aunt, daughter, granddaughter and now a mother. I have had 229 menstrual cycles. I was pregnant once and had a beautiful baby boy. My body was raised as a human child, and my body is now feeding a human child.
“No man can say he did these things because you can’t change your sex.”

A woman who described herself as a “Proud Patriot Trump” tweeted, “Today, I’m celebrating 20,756 days as a woman.
I am a former college athlete, daughter, sister, and lesbian. I do not support the Alphabet Soup agenda.
I am a breast cancer survivor and went through early menopause and I refuse to let anyone try to discredit me as a woman (sic).
Another said, “Today, I’m celebrating 8,607 days of being a woman.
I had about 100 menstrual cycles.
I’ve never been pregnant, but one day I will be.
I have had bad hives in my uterus which are currently being monitored.
“Nobody can understand any of this.”

Some men joined the movement.
“Today I celebrate 12, 214 days of not being a woman,” Travis N. Flint said.
I can have children, but I can never get pregnant.
I was born to lead, provide for and protect my family. My testosterone level gives me a deeper voice, more muscle tone, and more bone strength.
Medications can lessen this and make me feminine, but I will never be a woman.
I’m no better than women, but I’m different. Women have achieved great things, and watching men try to erase them stains everyone else.
Another added, “Today I celebrate 21,300 or so days of being a man. And on none of those days did I wonder if I was or not. Bad math, I know.

But some trans women have joined Mulvaney in celebrating her “days of womanhood.”
“3 years, 1,095 days, over 1.5 million minutes,” tweeted Kerry Elise Colby, co-host of Drag Race Raw.
I dedicated my life and my future to authenticity and today I celebrate my anniversary! #TransDayOfVisibility. “
Some objected to this concept.
One woman said, “Today I celebrate being a woman for 17,784 days.”
She gave birth to two wonderful children. I’ve had heavy periods, cervical dysplasia, and hysterectomies.
I also run a business and volunteer in my community. None of this makes me a woman more than anyone else. Let TW be fun.
