  • Tell the bride the moment she caught the groom 16 votes
  • Tell the bride after the ceremony 0 votes
  • Give groom and MOH a choice to tell her if she will 31 votes
  • Remain silent 11 votes

Many were divided over the situation, with some suggesting that she should not interfere in the couple’s affairs.

“Don’t tell her. Have him or her break the news to her. There will probably be less embarrassing drama than if you tell her on her wedding day. She will need you to be there for her, but not as the bearer of bad news at the time,” one person wrote.

While another said: ‘You may find yourself in the line of fire because you didn’t say anything that day. I’d probably talk to the husband and the sucker and tell them to confess.’

One woman said she should tell her but warned herself to “prepare to lose your boyfriend.”

“If she stays with him, you won’t be welcomed anymore. Believe me. I lost my best friend of 23 because I told her dark things her husband whispered to his female colleague,” she explained.

‘I wasn’t allowed at her house anymore, no children’s parties, no Christmas, nothing. I haven’t spoken to her for ten years now.’

Many suggested that the friend give the groom and bridesmaid a chance to get clean.

‘I would say something! Break up with the groom and the bridesmaid and say I’ve seen you both, either tell the bride now or I will,” one wrote.

While another said: ‘Give the groom and the bridesmaid a choice, you tell it or they tell her! Give them a time frame, she deserves to know, just think as if the tables were turned, do you wish she told you?’

Meanwhile, many said the best friend should have told the bride as soon as she found out about the secret affair.

“You should have told her the moment you caught them,” one wrote.
