A woman arguing with her husband fell out of their moving car on a Texas highway and died after being hit by another vehicle, according to police.

Authorities say the unknown victim has partially crawled out of their car for its sudden fall in the early hours of Saturday on the North Freeway near Houston.

It is thought that she was still alive when she was hit by another vehicle after surviving the fall at full speed around 1 o'clock & night.

Officials confirmed that she was declared dead on the ground, The Houston Chronicle reports.

The woman would have been drinking. Her unnamed husband, the driver, had not done that.
