The NYPD arrested a woman on Thursday after a man’s body was found in plastic on the roof of a McDonald’s in the South Bronx.

18-year-old Ayame Stamoulis from Brooklyn was charged with murder for the gruesome murder of Richard Hamlet earlier this week.

A maintenance worker discovered Hamlet’s body covered with a heavy U-haul blanket and put in a plastic bag early on Wednesday morning, but police believe he could have been on the roof for several days.

Officers are looking for two other male suspects believed to have been involved in the failed robbery and torture.

When officers arrived at the fast food restaurant location at 279 East 149th Street at around 6:00 on Wednesday morning, they discovered the victim “unconscious and unresponsive.”

EMS responded to the scene in the Melrose district and declared the man dead on the spot.

Video footage of WABC showed that they rated the scene and removed evidence before gently taking the body down.

The remains were later identified as Hamlet, who now thinks the police have been the victim of a robbery that went wrong.

Police say Stamoulis and the two men broke into Hamlet’s first floor apartment on E 149th St. in Melrose in what appears to have been a robbery, according to ABC 7 NY.

However, the group still found Hamlet in his apartment and then hit him.

They then reportedly forced him to drink a caustic liquid and choked him.

Hamlet’s body was wrapped in the plastic and blanket and thrown out the window on the McDonald’s roof next door.

The other two suspects have not yet been named if the investigation is continued.

Stamoulis has been charged with murder, manslaughter and gang abuse, burglary and other crimes New York Daily News.
