The US First Lady, Jill Biden, considered that she was “lucky to visit the pyramids of Giza,” during her two-day visit to Egypt as part of her Middle East tour.
And the wife of US President Joe Biden wrote, through her official Twitter account: “What a wonderful way to start the day, I was fortunate to visit the wonderful pyramids of Giza.”
Biden published a picture of her visit to the pyramids of Giza, and the pictures show Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Mustafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
Jill Biden arrived in Cairo on a two-day visit from Jordan, after attending the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Ragwa Al-Hussein.

Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, the spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the First Lady welcomed Mrs. Jill Biden at the Ittihadiya Palace, where President El-Sisi conveyed his greetings to President Joe Biden, expressing Egypt’s pride in the close and decades-old strategic partnership with the United States.
For her part, the US President’s wife conveyed President Biden’s greetings to President Sisi, and praised the good reception and hospitality in Egypt, expressing the US government and people’s appreciation for Egypt.
