Four people will face court after holding a gender reveal party which saw a car do a long burnout on a suburban road.
A blue Holden Commodore generated pink smoke while carrying out the fire on Belalie Road at Ingle Farm, north of Adelaide, at 1.15pm on Sunday.
South Australian police allege a group had gathered to watch the car as it left a 210-metre-long series of tire marks across two lanes.
The Commodore was tracked to a nearby residential address and was discovered in a garage.
Officers inspected and abandoned the vehicle and allege that a group did not respond to questioning.
Three people were identified and reported for their alleged involvement: two 20-year-old men and a 38-year-old woman.
The alleged driver, aged 22, later reported to police and received a complaint for misuse of a motor vehicle.
The group will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.

Vision of the alleged incident showed thick pink smoke billowing from the Commodore’s tires.
The baby was revealed to be a girl.
Vision of the incident appeared to show the vehicle doing donuts and skidding along the road as plumes of pink smoke rose from the tires.
A spectator could be seen standing in the smoke, filming the act.
In October last year, a man was fined $1,120.50 for revealing his gender in Carrum Downs, southeast of Melbourne.
About 30 partygoers, including children, watched a driver perform burnouts as blue smoke billowed from his tires.
Police warned the party could have been deadly at the time.
“(I’m) totally flabbergasted that someone would be so stupid and that people would think it’s a good idea,” Senior Sergeant Hulley said. Newscorp.
“If someone wants their gender revealed, let them eat a cake instead.”
A 29-year-old Frankston man had his Holden Commodore seized in connection with the incident.
