Brad Pitt believes Angelina Jolie is “delaying” finalizing her divorce to dampen her hopes for a third marriage, according to sources who claim the actress is using the situation as “another tactic” to control her ex-husband.
‘Brangelina’ became a couple in 2006 and married in 2014 before they separated in 2016, triggering a bitter court dispute over custody of their children and property.
Brad, 60, has since moved on with jewelry executive Inés de Ramón, 31, who has become his girlfriend as their romance continues to blossom.
Now, insiders have revealed that the Fight Club star is keen to “get married again” but his bitter legal battle with Angelina is preventing him from being able to “move on” as he wants a full divorce before remarrying.
“Brad wants to get married again, but Angie is still standing in the way and he just wants it all over,” a source close to Brad exclusively told DailyMail.com. “She’s been dragging this out for almost a decade. Now she’s delaying finalizing her divorce.
The source claimed that Brad’s estranged relationship with his children could be a key reason for the actress’s actions, as they suggested that she is waiting for the twins to turn 18 before finalizing the divorce.

After his separation from the actress, Brad has moved on with jewelry executive Inés de Ramón, 31.
The former couple share three biological children: Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, as well as adopted children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 19.
Since their parents’ bitter separation, Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne have dropped Pitt from their last name.
It has been reported that Maddox and Pax do not speak to their father, while Knox and Vivienne are believed to still speak to the Fight Club star, although they have not been photographed with him in several years.
The source added: “She’s using this as another tactic to maintain control over him and Brad knows she’s furious because he’s happy.”
The source then explained that Brad is determined to resolve all of his legal issues with his ex-wife and that Ines is ready to support him during the ongoing battle.
“This has been going on for eight years now, and while he would like to move on with Ines, they both know it’s not possible, and this makes Brad angry,” the source said. ‘He is very prepared to face Miraval. Inés will wait as long as necessary.

Inés reportedly takes these precautions to avoid giving the actor the impression that she is using their relationship to gain fame.
Now the actor is said to be looking to share his future with the brunette beauty, as another source stated: ‘Brad is interested in remarrying and it’s all thanks to Inés.
“The thing about her is that he feels so comfortable with her that he feels good about her, and he would be more than fine if he made it official.”

Their ongoing feud began when the actress accused Brad of physical assault while flying to California in September 2016.

Earlier this month, Angelina won a major legal victory against her ex-husband after a judge ruled that he must turn over documents and communications that could prove he abused the actress and her children.
Legal documents seen by DailyMail.com show that the communications Brad was ordered to share are between September 14, 2016 and December 31, 2018.
That will include emails, text messages and other written communications, but nothing between him and his attorneys or therapists.
She previously accused him of spilling red wine and beer on her ex and one of the couple’s children on a private plane.
Brad has always denied being abusive and was cleared by police after an investigation, although his ex claimed in documents that his “history of physical abuse” began “long before” the plane incident.
The Maleficent actress filed documents in July claiming the actor tried to force her to sign an $8.5 million nondisclosure agreement to cover up “years of abuse.”
At the same time, her legal team asked that the court force Brad to reveal ‘private third-party communications’ he had about his family’s 2016 plane trip that resulted in Angelina filing for divorce.
