Kim Kardashian was the talk of the town at the 2024 Met Gala in New York on Monday, wearing a tiny corset dress by John Galliano’s Maison Margiela Artisanal.
Having walked the red carpet with her ex-husband Kanye West, 46, in previous years, it seemed strange that the rapper would not attend this time, albeit with his fashion muse Bianca Censori, 29.
Kanye has not been invited since 2022, when the Met Gala director Anna Wintour vowed never to work with him again after his anti-Semitic rants.
And even before that, he was a regular Met Gal patron; His last appearance was in 2019.
So, he and Bianca spent Monday more than 2,000 miles apart continuing their move out of their Los Angeles mansion.

However, she still brought a bit of it to that year’s Met Gala, completely hiding her body, including her face, in a skin-tight black suit designed by Balenciaga, Ye’s frequent collaborator.
Kim’s first appearance at the Met Gala came in 2013, when she was heavily pregnant with her first child, North, and was only invited as Kanye’s date.
The couple attended again in 2014, just days before their lavish Italian wedding, with Kim wearing a stunning midnight blue dress.
In 2015, Kim wore a stunning semi-sheer white Roberto Cavalli dress with a long, feathery white train, and Kanye wore an all-black suit.
Kim and Kanye’s penultimate Met Gala in 2016 saw them match in metallic silver, with Kanye wearing a particularly eye-catching bedazzled jacket.
In 2017, Kim stood alone in a very simple white off-the-shoulder dress by Vivienne Westwood.

She appeared to be cracking a joke, telling Hart, “I know a lot of people make fun of your height,” before appearing to do a double take at her unadoring audience’s outburst.
Kardashian, who sported blonde locks while holding a glass of champagne at the event in Southern California, tried to get the show back on track, saying, “Okay, okay, okay.”
Hart himself appeared to step in to do damage control, saying, “Whoa, whoa.”
In her introduction, Kardashian alluded to past rumors of a romance with Brady after they crossed paths last summer at a Fourth of July party in the Hamptons.
“I’m really here tonight for Tom,” said Kardashian, who previously dated NFL players including Reggie Bush and Miles Austin. “I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance he can.”
She joked in reference to her 2007 sex tape with Ray-J: “I know there were some rumors that we were, and I would never say if we did it or not; I would just release a tape.”
