Ant and Dec will host a 20th series of Saturday Night Takeaway tonight, when the popular show returns to screens on ITV.

The popular variety show, which first premiered in June 2002.

It has featured some familiar faces and memorable moments for over 20 years as a Saturday night entertainment staple.

But where are the other hosts and guest stars who appeared on Saturday Night Takeaway and how many can you remember?

Where are the hosts of Saturday Night Takeaway now?

Kirsty Gallacher

Kirsty Gallacher has had a long career in broadcasting and presenting after achieving her breakthrough at Sky Sports News in 1998.

After presenting other sports shows including BBC Radio 5 Live, Kirsty presented 26 episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway between 2004 and 2009.

After finishing in 11th place with professional dancer Brendan Cole on the 2015 series of Strictly Come Dancing, she would present a breakfast show for GB News following the channel’s launch in 2021.

However, she was forced to step away from the show in November, after a benign tumor in her ear caused ‘severe tinnitus’ and left her unable to work.

In January 2024, she appeared on an episode of Beat The Chasers, but was eliminated after just one question.

The Smooth Radio host was asked: ‘What is a company that exaggerates its environmental credentials for marketing purposes said to be doing?’

She responded “catfishing,” as the studio audience reacted by gasping in shock. Kirsty was shocked to discover that the correct answer was, in fact, a greenwash.

Ashley Roberts

Former member of The Pussycat Dolls, Ashley turned to presenting after the group broke up in 2010.

Her stint on Saturday Night Takeaway was her first on the broadcast and saw her host 25 episodes, with her last appearance on the show being in 2021.

Since 2022, he has hosted the Netflix show Dance Monsters, in which amateur dancers dressed as CGI avatars compete to win $250,000.

He has also presented the Heart 00 show on Heart Radio.

Scarlett Moffatt

Before enjoying a glittering career in television, Scarlett worked at her local Asda supermarket as a checkout clerk.

However, her life would change forever after choosing to apply for the third series of Gogglebox in March 2014, as she became a fan favorite of the show.

Subsequently, her time on the Channel 4 show saw her enter season 16 of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2016.

It was after her victory in Australia that Scarlett ventured into performing for the first time, hosting the dating reality show Streetmate in 2017.

He then co-presented 15 episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway with fellow Geordies Ant and Dec between 2017 and 2020.

Scarlett has also presented Love Bites and regularly appears as a guest presenter on Lorraine and Loose Women.

In June 2023, Scarlett welcomed her first child, a boy named Jude, with her boyfriend Scott Dobinson, four months after confirming her pregnancy.

The former Gogglebox star announced the news in a sweet Instagram post after her little one arrived five weeks earlier than planned.

After appearing on the second series of The X Factor in 2005 as part of girl group Addictiv Ladies, Fleur enjoyed a successful solo career before returning to the show in 2014.

Esteban Mulhern

Hosting the ‘Ant vs Dec’ and ‘In for a Penny’ segments, Stephen Mulhern has been a familiar face on Saturday Night Takeaway since his first appearance on the show in 2016.

The latter of the two segments was turned into an eponymous game show in 2019 and sees Stephen explore the streets of various UK cities to find people to complete various challenges.

Challenges include filling cars with an exact amount of fuel and guessing the prices of items on a conveyor belt.

Each show ends with the final game ‘In for a Penny, In for a Grand’, which sees people completing comedy challenges for a chance to win £1,000.

In December 2023, Mulhern was announced as permanent co-host of Dancing On Ice alongside Holly Willoughby following the resignation of Phillip Schofield from ITV in May of that year.

Having presented several shows since being chosen to broadcast The Broom Cupboard in 1989 on CBBC, Andi Peters is one of the most experienced names on Saturday Night Takeaway’s list of guest hosts.

Aside from his best-known work, which included hosting game shows on Good Morning Britain and Saturday Night Takeaway, Peters had a little-known role in Toy Story 2 as the voice of Male Baggage Handler #1.

While appearing in a Saturday Night Takeaway segment last year, Andi drove viewers wild with her ripped, muscular physique.
