An Ohio high school is using a controversial program that compares pornography to superhero movies and shows cartoons of children masturbating to teach sex and health education to students as young as 10.
AMAZE is an online resource that creates YouTube videos using animated characters to talk about sex, masturbation, pornography, and the “gender spectrum.”
Parent Kiki Fuchser slammed the Tallmadge City School District after she was asked to sign a health education consent form for her fifth-grade daughter.
Taking a closer look at the fifth through eighth grade curriculum offered at her daughter’s high school, she came across explicit videos of children being taught about masturbation.
Ms Fuchser told DailyMail.com that the school will not be able to control what videos children do and do not watch from the AMAZE programme once it is introduced as a sex education resource.

The video features a boy asking why his penis sometimes gets erect during the day, and notes that girls “also have a private part that they may want to touch because it feels good: the clitoris.”
Elsewhere, the video claims that “there is no limit to the number of times a person can masturbate each day.”
This clip appears in the #AskAMAZE section of AMAZE Org YouTube Channel.
While the syllabus promises to show only fifth-grade videos from the “junior” section of the website, no such commitment is made for students in sixth through eighth grades.
Ms Fuchser told DailyMail.com that the school will not be able to control what videos children do and do not see from the AMAZE programme once it is introduced as a sex education resource.

“A sixth, seventh, eighth or ninth grader should never be taught how to masturbate,” he said.
“They tell them to use AMAZE Junior, but they can easily go to YouTube and access regular AMAZE. And regular AMAZE starts in sixth grade.”
To demonstrate how easy it would be for students — who are growing up in the digital age with Internet access at their fingertips — to find this material, Ms. Fuchser said all she had to do was follow the links on the permission slip she received.
“I had the syllabus and a link to show me what material I would be learning,” she said.
‘We live in a pretty conservative area… I’ve done a little research and you’ll be amazed, impressed by what they’re trying to teach.
“It’s absolutely disgusting.”
Ms. Fuchser invited other parents to explore other videos the organization has advertised as “teaching tools” online.
The AMAZE website includes fifth-grade teaching materials that emphasize teaching students that only penile-vaginal intercourse can result in pregnancy and exploring reasons why couples might explore IVF procedures.
Another lesson plan describes to children the difference between being straight, gay and bisexual, noting: “You don’t need to have done anything sexual with someone to know your sexual orientation.”
These include lessons on gender confusion and the “gender spectrum,” as well as pornography and “medical confidentiality.”
In a video titled “Is Pornography Normal?”, the animated character explains how easy it is to find pornography.
“Yes, it’s normal,” the video says. “A lot of people watch pornography. After all, it’s there and it’s free.”
“But remember, porn isn’t real. It’s just a fantasy, like superhero movies.”
In another video discussing children’s right to privacy with medical providers, AMAZE tells children, ‘You have the right to talk to your health care provider yourself.
‘One-on-one time with your doctor can be a great opportunity to ask questions about puberty, sexual orientation and gender identity, or if you’re thinking about having sex and want to use birth control, condoms, and/or PrEP, which are all different methods to help prevent unwanted pregnancies, HIV, and other STIs.’
PrEP is a medication that can reduce the risk of contracting HIV.
In a video titled “Is Pornography Normal?”, the animated character explains how easy it is to find pornography.
The video states that “it’s important for you and your doctor to be honest with each other,” adding that most conversations, particularly those revolving around sexual decisions, can be kept confidential.
“Just make sure you ask your doctor to keep it confidential, because they are kind enough to be like that,” the video states.
‘Everyone should have the opportunity to spend time alone with their doctor. I know it can be difficult and embarrassing to ask for it, but it is your right.’

“It is imperative that we pay attention to what is happening in our schools,” he said.
“We on the right say the left is trying to oversexualize our children. That’s exactly what we’re talking about.
“They want to deceive us and pretend that nothing is happening.”
Ms. Fuchser sent a letter to the principal and vice principal of her son’s school expressing her concerns and insisting that her daughter not participate.
Still, she said it’s “inevitable” that her daughter will learn what’s being taught in her peers’ classroom, given the number of parents who will likely choose to enroll in the class.
Her video discussing the issue has attracted more than 10,000 responses on TikTok, many of them from concerned parents who said they wouldn’t want their children learning from such material either.
One mother said, “Yes, my son made that mistake in fifth grade. I told him NO.”
‘From what I understand, they would be sitting around with something else to do.’
Another said: “This is unbelievable, what the hell is going on in these schools?”
“My son is in fifth grade. I can’t imagine him watching this and not living a protected life,” added a third.
